PSC PRACTICES AT THE ACTON-BOXBOROUGH HIGH SCHOOL POOL.

WE INVITE SWIMMERS FROM THE SURROUNDING MASSACHUSETTS COMMUNITIES TO TRY-OUT AND JOIN US FOR FUN, PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT, AND COMPETITIVE SUCCESS.

PSC swims throughout most of the year, following the two USA Swimming/New England Swimming seasons. The winter, or short-course season (Short Course Yards or SCY) meets are swum in 25-yard pools.  SCY season begins in September and ends in early April. The summer, or long-course season (Long Course Meters or LCM) meets are swum in 50-meter pools.  LCM season begins in April and ends in August. Each of these seasons ends with the various levels of New England Age-group Championships and Senior Championships for swimmers that meet the qualifying times. The Age Groups are 8 and Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15 and Older. Senior Meets are open to all swimmers of any age that meet the relatively difficult qualifying times.

Those PSC swimmers that excel at the New England championship meets and/or meet the more difficult qualifying times for regional and national level swimming meets such as the SCY and LCM Eastern Zone Age-Group Championship Meets, Northeast Regional Junior National Championship Meets (open to swimmers under the age of 20), and Senior National Championship Meets (open to swimmers of any age); may extend their swimming season at these meets.
